Pakistani Christians appreciate the role of law enforcement agencies for ensuring foolproof security on the occasion of Easter. In this regard, Pakistan United Christian Movement (PUCM) has extended gratitude towards the government and the law enforcement agencies while appreciating the steps taken by the authorities in this regard.
In this connection Mitchell Watto-President of Pakistan United Christian Movement in Sindh, expressed gratefulness to the provincial and federal governments saying: “PUCM is very thankful to all present law enforcement agencies in the country, all provincial Chief Ministers and especially we are grateful to our Prime Minister for providing us safe and nice environment to celebrate our religious festival Easter this time.”
Mitchell Watto said that PUCM, acknowledges the efforts of the present government and voiced hope that the government will continue its efforts to restore and sustain peace in the country. He said that he valued these steps taken by the government, however unceasing efforts are required so as Christians may feel safe in Pakistan.
He reiterated that fact that Pakistan United Christian Movement party will always try to stay connected with the government. He said that PUCM will stand by the side of Pakistan government and extend support “at every single step.” He said that PUCM has been supporting the government in the past, and will continue to support them in the future as well.
“In last I would like to thank and appreciate all the Christians in Pakistan and specially staying abroad for playing a key role in maintaining the respect of our government in all the aspects throughout the world,” he continued.
