Saint Anthony’s High School was founded in 1892 by the Marist Father of Ireland. It was initially named St. Anthony’s Catholic Day School and is also art of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lahore in Punjab.

St. Anthony’s a prestigious School and beacon of light from where a host of international famous personalities of Indo-Pakistan Subcontinent have been enlightened was founded on 1 March 1892 in Peeli Kothi, Empress Road, Lahore

In 1900 the school was dedicated to Saint Anthony Padua who gave consolation to the despaired. In the 1900’s Father Leo inaugurated the first O level classes on campus. The school houses about 1400 pupils and 100 teaching staff and has been upgraded to college level with the approval Archbishop Sebastian Francis Shaw in August 2013.

St. Anthony’s School, Lawrence Road Lahore is purely a boy’s institution and is divided into the following three sections junior, senior and high school. The educational program at the St. Anthony’s High School has been designed to educate students with strong written, oral and quantitative skills, equipped with sound knowledge which makes the students ready to pursue their goals with determination and courage.

Many branches of the school have opened up all over Pakistan. The Lawrence Road branch on Mall Road Lahore still remains the biggest campus. The campus has five buildings consisting of classrooms, laboratories, a library and offices.

Courses leading up to O level and Matriculation are offered at the school. Hand in hand extra curricular activities continue to be a source of learning for the students. Its rich heritage and a strong cultural background still maintain the number of enrollments per year.

The list of notable alumni at St. Anthony’s school is endless. Group Captain Cecil Chaudry who is an alumnus also served the school as principal. The current Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, Salman Taseer, Ishaq Dar, Brigadier Samson Simon Sharaf and Rameez Raja are only a few names. Students of St. Anthony’s have progressed into every walk of life form government to sports to armed forces and judiciary.
