He added, “He took the concerned officials of the university to the provincial ombudsman of Punjab in May 2012 after the university failed to recruit minorities against the quota since March 2010.” Followed by a year of court hearings the ombudsman gave his verdict,” that the university had violated the provincial government’s minority job quota notification.” He goes on to complain that the university has since not placed any advertisement for minority jobs.

I would like young Christian men and women to get the jobs of lecturers, Professors and Assistant professors in the University of Sargodha and in other universities of the province as well,” he added.

The APMDM premier revealed that when he spoke to other universities officials in Punjab including Islamia UniversityBahawalpur urging them to execute the minority job quota he was told that they did not get any official notification.
