Dadu- An aggravated assemblage incinerated a man’s dead body, as an effect of possible desecration of Holy Quran.
Police states that an agitated throng stoned a man on suspicion of probable, defilement of the Holy Quran. The dead body was charred afterwards. SSP Usman Daud Ghani, unveils that this incident took place in SeetaVillage; locale of District Dadu-Sindh. According to him, on the night of 20th of December, at about 3:30 am, a group of people reported to the local Imam about a man who had allegedly been irreverential , setting the Holy Quran in flames. The assembly, subsequently, handed over the convict to the police.
It has been reported that, the news spread with the break of day. A fuming crowd attacked the police station, disarming the police. SSP Usman, told that the offender, was brought out of the lock up, by the mob. They stoned him to death, tugging the dead body a mile away from the police station, eventually combusting the dead body.
According to the police, the convict had not been identified yet, he was around 40 years old and his dialect was Saraiki. Police further disclosed that the convict was possibly neurotic.
