PESHAWAR: A 16-year-old newly convert to Christianity goes missing as reported to be kidnapped by the militants.
As CIP has learned, Aman Ullah a convert to Christianity has been missing since 25th of May, 2013 till date. His missing is assumed to be abduction by the a group of Talibans. So far there has been no clue of what has happened to him as none of the Taliban groups have claimed the responsibility of his kidnapping.
This is worth mentioning that the incident has happened in Khyber Pakhtun Khawa KPK; one of the most hostile regions of the country. Different groups of militants are active in this region with sporadic attacks on Christian missionaries. Aman Ullah converted from Islam, and publicly evangelized his newly found faith.
“We don’t know which of the 32 different Taliban groups operating both in Afghanistan and Pakistan is responsible,” said John Taimoor –President of mission group Cross bearers Ministry.
“My team, workers and disciples from Muslim backgrounds are facing pressures from many sides and physical persecution,” he further stated. “Nevertheless, we are looking to our Saviour who is able to save us to the uttermost…”There has been no apparent statement from the Taliban, since the group has a reputation of speaking to media in similar kidnapping cases. The abducted Aman Ullah, embraced Christianity a year ago and began to evangelize.
“Notably, he memorized the books of John and Ephesians in the Bible,” said Taimoor who has been teaching Aman about the Biblical Doctrines. He aimed to memorize the entire New Testament as he had already memorized the Koran, Taimoor recollected.
“He is very dear to me. Aman Ullah means ‘peace of God’ in Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Pushto languages. He is a diamond, very dedicated and brilliant. He was outgoing; he made public statements and gave his testimony,” he said,”
John Taimoor, urged all the Christians to pray for Aman’s protection, asking them to pray that,” God protects and ministers to all who are faithfully serving Him in Pakistan.”
