ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani drone crashes near the Sargodha base.
A Pakistan Air force spokesman said on Sunday, country’s pilotless aircraft crashed near the base of Sargodha. As said by air commodore Tariq Mahmood, the drone was on its routine flight in Punjab and was trying to land at a base near Chak 96 of Sargodha.
As a result of this crash the pilotless plane got slight damages while no one was injured on the ground. Pakistan’s military uses locally made drones for surveillance as it is currently engaged in an offensive against the Taliban insurgency in the North Waziristan Agency.
