The Sindh chief minister says around 800,000 cusecs of floodwater is expected to enter Sindh and his government would work vigorously to ensure that it flows into the Arabian Sea without causing any major harm.

While talking to media, CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah said according to government estimates, neither would the floodwater cause any river dyke breaches, not would there be a need to blow up embankments with dynamite. “Our government has had the experience of tackling super floods in the year 2010,” he added.
