Arrests For Printing ISIS Pamphlets In Peshawar

Three people have been arrested by the Peshawar police for allegedly printing and possessing pro ISIS pamphlets which show support towards the Islamic State.

Arrests were made in the Shamshatu Bazar area according to reports. Two out of the three people who have been arrested are Afghan Nationals.

As per the FIR lodged, police raided a shop after a tip off about the printing of the pamphlets in its vicinity. And police claimed to have recovered two laptops, two CPU’s. There was pro-militant and anti Pakistan material that was also recovered from the premises. AN FIR under section 124 A has been lodged.

The Shamshatu refugee camp is located in the south east of Peshawar and those arrested have been identified as Asmatullah who is an Afghan resident, Abdur Rehman who is also Afghani and Gul Khan who is from Mohmand Agency currently living in Peshawar.
