British High Commissioner to Pakistan Philip Barton has facilitated Pakistani Christians on the occasion of Christmas saying “Bara Din Mubarak.”

According to details, Philip Barton- British High Commissioner to Pakistan has felicitated Pakistani Christians on the occasion of Christmas saying, “Bar Din Mubarak.” At this occasion, he also felicitated the Pakistani nation on the occasion of birthday of founder of Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

The British High Commissioner in his Christmas message said, “On behalf of the British High Commission and the people of the United Kingdom (UK), I would like to wish everyone in Pakistan celebrating Christmas, ‘Bara Din Mubarak’ Christmas is a time to celebrate faith and community. I hope all Christians in Pakistan have a safe and happy Christmas.”

Philip Barton further said that, “On 25 December, the people of Pakistan also celebrate the birthday of the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah The principles of his vision for Pakistan: freedom, good governance, tolerance, respect for minorities, the rule of law are just as important today as they were in 1947.”

“This year,” he added, “UK also celebrated an important birthday it is 800 years since the Magna Carta that established similar principles in England was sealed. As I have travelled around Pakistan this year, discussing the Magna Carta and what it means to the people of Pakistan today. I have been struck by the determination to create a better future for the country.

This determination is paying off. Pakistan is more secure, more prosperous, and more democratic now. Real challenges are there but I have met remarkable people across Pakistan whose energy and enthusiasm for their country fills me with hope for the future.”
