Christians attacked by jihadists in Burkina Faso, West Africa.

According to details, at least two Christians were injured in a recent attacked by jihadists on Christians in Burkina Faso, West Africa on Monday August 24. The eye witnesses say that masked gunmen who identified themselves as militants from the Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram stormed into a police station.

According to a statement to the Associated Press, one of the witnesses Alassane Hamidou said that he went to a police station in Oursi and found masked gunmen inside the police station building. He said that the attackers told him to lie down on the floor.

He recalls, the militants told me saying, “There are no police here now it is Boko Haram from now on. We are looking for Christians, and you are spared because you are a Muslim.”

The incident is said to have occurred near Burkina Faso’s border with Mali. Due to crisis situation in Burkina Faso, military troops have been sent by the government to recover the area from the control of the militants.
