Certain elements are intentionally trying to fan strife between Christians and Muslims: Chairman PUCM


Certain elements are bent on sowing and nurturing dissentions between Christians and Muslims says Albert David- Chairman of Pakistan United Christian Movement (PUCM). In a ceremony launching PUCM in southern Punjab, Albert David stated that Christians and Muslims should join forces against discords.

Albert David, along with Shakeel Randhawa and Amir Bashir were present as chief guests. This launching ceremony was held at Multan’s Munshi Khan Hotel in Duniya Pur. While addressing the attendees, Chairman Pakistan United Christian Movement said that there are deliberate attempts to generate clashes between Christians and Muslims in Pakistan.

While further continuing, he stated that whenever anyone will endeavor to tarnish the amity and harmony in Pakistan, we all must join hands regardless of religion and ward off forces trying to destabilize our country. “Pakistani Christians will be at the forefront whenever the time arises,” he asserted.

He reiterated the resolution to strive for the defense of the country and said that Pakistani Christians have already made a lot of sacrifices for their country, and will not back away in future. “Christians and Muslims need to discern the intentional attempts to fan discord, and fend these efforts off by being united with each other.”
