Christian lawmaker William Barkat succors Hindu Community in Shanti Nagar, Quetta

William Barkat, Christian Member of Balochistan Assembly visited Shanti Nagar, Quetta and extended assistance to the Hindu Community of the neighborhood. He okayed grant of 40 lac for the betterment of the Hindu community residing in the neighborhood. “We are striving to provide every facility in Shanti Nagar,” MPA William Barkat said.

MPA William Barkat visited Shanti Nagar a neighborhood in Quetta, and pledged basic facilities to the locals. He asserted that various plans were underway for the benefit of the Hindu community of Shanti Nagar. He reiterated the cordial ties with Kansi Tribe and said that the leaders of the Kansi tribe have always showed favor to him.

During his visit to Shanti Nagar, he surveyed the streets and discerned the living conditions of the locals. He avowed construction of a community hall for social and cultural activities and reiterated the aim to ensure supply of clean and safe drinking water to the residents of Shanti Nagar.

William Barkat who hails from the Pashtoonkhwa Milli Awami Party, announced a grant of 40 lac rupees for installation of a water tank in the neighborhood which would supply clean water to the neighborhood. During the visit, Counselor Shahid Khan and Hindu leaders including Chaudhary Ram Chand and others were also present.
