Speaking against sensitive issues is crucial in Pakistan and many have had to face the consequences of speaking against the injustice done to non-Muslim minorities in Pakistan, the prime example being of Salman Taseer, the former governor of Punjab who was assassinated by his own guard because of his vocal opinion against the blasphemy laws in Pakistan.
