Christian mother continues to fight for justice for her 3 year old rape daughter in Pakistan

Bibi’s girl was raped in her home on 17th December, 2016.

“One day, when Bibi and her oldest son, Altaf Masih, 21, were at work and her 10-year-old son, Daud, was looking after his younger sister, a Muslim friend of Altaf, named Muhammed Abbas, came over. The man requested Daud to buy cigarettes for him from a nearby market. When Daud came back from a shop, Abbas kept him waiting outside the house and raped his sister.

Abbas finally opened the door for Daud, lit a cigarette and left. When Daud went inside, he found his sister naked, covered in blood and screaming.

Police initially refused to investigate the rape until a local lawmaker exerted pressure on the authorities”.

Christian rape victim named Saiba should hold up till Saiba achieves adolescence before she will be evaluated for the possibility to restore damaged reproductive organs. Her mother Catherine Bibi is calling for prayers for the full recovery of her daughter within that age.

On the 24th July 2017, Saiba and her mom Catherine were taken by Mehwish Bhatti lead Pakistan officer of the BPCA to National Hospital Lahore for a medical examination of their health. The charges for the hospital assessment were paid by donor from New Zealand.

BPCA took Catherine and Saiba to a gynecologist Dr Saadia Shaukhat and Child expert Professor Dr Haroon Hamid who affirmed that in spite of the fact that her general health is fine, Saiba’s reproductive organs were still damage as a consequence of major trauma and infections from stitches that were applied to initial wounds. A more thorough analysis can be undertaken until Saiba reaches puberty leaving mother Catherine feeling great anxiety as she waits to ascertain whether her daughter can ever conceive a child. Catherine has asked for prayers from Christians across the globe as she seeks a miracle recovery for her daughter.

In an emotional appeal she said:

“My daughter does not deserve any of the pain she has suffered and will suffer for many years yet. Saiba was left bleeding and broken by an evil man whose violence has left her with deep emotional and physical scars for longevity.

“Doctors may struggle to heal my daughter but through God anything is possible and I believe he will heal Saiba one day. Please join me in praying for my daughter who will one day through her healing be a testament to the power of the living God.”

Dr Shaukhat educated Catherine that Saiba ought to experience psychological assessment with a professional as she is showing a few sign of mental trauma. Until further notice Mehwish Bhatti is proceeding with a program of Bible based advising. Be that as it may, if manifestations exacerbate we will approach a Christian expert for exhortation.

Catherine was being evaluated for respiratory issues and symptoms relating with heart that had prevented her being able to attend a court hearing on 13th july, bringing about a court dismissal that has delayed justice for her daughter.

She met with a cardiologist Dr Aamer Mansoor who attempted a few examinations including; Random Glucose, Chest X-beam, HCV PCR RNA and Lipid profile. Catherine has been informed that she has an irregular heart beat and is awaiting results from an electrocardiogram.

Catherine could go to a further court hearing on 29th July as she seeks after equity against pedophile rapist Muhammed Abbas, however due to the non-appearance of any safeguard specialist for Mr Abbas the case was again dismissed. Another court hearing date of 16th August has been set by the presiding Judge at Christian Session Court. They require your petitions for justice to be served for Saiba and for the conviction and incarceration of a dangerous pedophile, Saiba’s family remains under BPCA cares.
