Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and other faith leaders addressed the United Nations on Friday regarding the “greatest crises of the modern age.”

Cahn said in an interview that Christian persecution has reached its peak and has increased to historic proportions. Yet very few efforts are in place to curtail this and to protect the innocent. The purpose of the event was to make a plea to United Nations rather than sitting idly and letting the innocent women, children and men perish.

At the event in New York City, ambassadors, Christian and Jewish leaders, businessmen and high-ranking military officials spoke out against the worsening Christian persecution in the Middle East and around the globe. The symposium is called “The Persecution of Christians Globally: A Threat to International Peace and Security.

The highlight of the conference was the mass exodus that Christians are facing globally. The recent situation in Middle East where we are literally watching the genocide of Jesus’ followers is gutting. Christian persecution at its worse is a matter of grave concern. Prophecies are coming to pass as never before.

The team has appealed to the UN to take matters into hand as these growing threats to international peace and security can only be eradicated through education. Inter-faith harmony needs to be instilled in each and every faith on earth.

“I’m being told that the General Assembly is going to convene a meeting April 20 to initiate a resolution against religious intolerance, against Christians and against minorities,” Jessip , a member of the conference reported.
