In line with details, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pervez Khattak has condemned the attack on a Church at Kohati Gate, Peshawar city. He said that, “Elements involved in the gruesome incidents are the enemies of humanity.”

 

The CM issued directions for comprehensive probe into the incident and provision of possible assistance to the victims. Additionally CM Khattak has issued directives to the authorities of the LadyReadingHospital along with other concerned health authorities for determinative provision of enhanced treatment facilities to the victims.

CM Khattak on behalf of the KP government expressed commiseration and solidarity with Christian community over the incident.While the Provincial government has announced Rs 500, 000 in compensation to the families of victims and Rs 200,000 for each injured in the attack.

 

Labelling this incident as plan to spread religious hatred; he said that, ”Such elements would be dealt with iron hand. The provincial government at this critical stage will not leave the affected families alone.”
 

While Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa , Engineer Shaukatullah also firmly condemned the suicide attack in a Church in Kohati area of Peshawar whilst expressed profound shock and grief over the loss of precious lives. The Governor further said that,”The tragic incident was indeed shocking for them.” 

 

The Provincial Chief of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan and general secretary of Jammat-i-Islami, Shabir Ahmad Khan sternly damned the blasts at the All Saints Church near Kohati Gate. Whereas, , Siraj-ul-Haq Senior Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has  also condemned the attack and expressed sympathy with the affected families.
