CM Punjab orders a foolproof security on the occasion of Christmas

Chief Minister of Punjab has directed the concerned authorities to make sure that a foolproof security is provided to Christians on the occasion of Christmas.

According to details, the Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif has ordered fail-safe security arrangements on the occasions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and Christmas. CM Shahbaz Sharif issued this order while directing the cabinet committee on peace.

At this occasion, CM Shahbaz Sharif said that all the senior security personnel and administrative authorities should themselves inspect the security arrangements made during Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) today December 24 and on Christmas, December 25.

CM Shahbaz Sharif directed the officials to rigorously follow the planned security arrangements by taking every possible step to ensure the security of citizens. Moreover, he directed the concerned departments to make sure the Eid Milad-un-Nabi possession routes are cleared after comprehensive checking. CM Shahbaz Sharif directed all the concerned officers to keep an eye on the whole situation through CCTV cameras.

CM Shahbaz Sharif felicitated the entire Pakistani nation on the occasions of Eid Milad-un-Nabi and Christmas and prayed for the prosperity of Pakistan. Previously, CM Punjab said that founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah laid great emphasize upon equal rights of the minorities and “we have to promote this vision of Quaid in Pakistan.”

“Christian community has played a commendable role in the progress and prosperity of the country. Services of Christian community in education, health and other sectors are appreciable,” said the CM Shahbaz Sharif while addressing a function held in the honour of Christian community in connection with Christmas at Model Town. He assured that under the constitution of Pakistan, everyone has equal rights to live and work here.
