Cycle for change: Government should give away bicycles to every girl attending High School says PTI’ Christian leader

Christian leader Samar Nazar, Vice President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Minorities’ wing-Punjab has demanded that provincial governments in Pakistan should dispense bicycles among the girl students, in order to facilitate them.

In keeping with details, PTI’ Samar Nazar has demanded the provincial governments in all the four provinces should hand out bicycles to every girl student in High Schools, so that they can paddle their way to school themselves and do not face any difficulty in reaching their schools. He urged that the provincial governments should make sure that these two-wheelers are distributed without cost, in order to facilitate these girls.

While voicing his demand, he presented the example of the Indian State Bihar, where the government has been distributing bicycles to each and every girl student since nine years. He said that this act of Bihar’ government has been lending a helping hand to the girl students. “Just one act, has changed lives of millions of girls in Bihar,” he asserted.

He went on to demand that after Pakistan should also follow the footsteps of the Bihar government in this regard. Every girl attending High School in all the four provinces should be provided a bicycle without any cost, so that a single act can impact the lives of millions of Pakistani girls.
