December 21st, 2012 ,11:11(UCT ) ; the predicted end of the world.
This fallacious doomsday theory originated, when the Sumerians claimed to discover a supposed planet, Nibiru; heading towards the earth. They predicted that this Nibiru would crash with the earth in May 2003, this prediction was however, annulled as nothing happened on their predicted time, the doomsday date was therefore, altered to winter solstice of 2012, and was linked to the end of the Malayan calendar.
Tales about Nibiru and other such wayward planets are all deception. No such entities as planet Nibiru or planet –X which headed for a collusion with the earth ever existed, which in other case would have been tracked by the astronomers, and would have been at least noticeable to the naked eye by this time.
These 2012 fabrications are being winnowed by The History Channel, Newsweek Magazine, mainstream movie studios, booksellers and many websites. Trailers from the science fiction movie 2012 add to the propaganda, screening massive earth quakes, tsunamis and meteors falling from heaven causing a demise of the human race and the cosmos.
All this buildup is established upon a composite of the Malayan Calendar delusion, the book The Bible Code, and some oriental predictions.
But what does the HOLY BIBLE says about the end of the world?
The cardinal point to keep in view is the occurrences of some biblical prophesies which; must take place before the world will end. Out of these The Rapture of the Church is eminent. This is worth knowing that the Church of Christ will not go through the seven year tribulation. Jesus Christ will Himself come to take His Church. This will be a startling event.
“ For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
This is very notable that when the world will be destroyed the Church will already have been raptured by the Lord. As the Lord Jesus told His disciples:
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.“ – John 14:3
So far the Church has not been raptured so the world will not end in December, 2012 certainly.
Another prophesized event proceeding immediately the Rapture of the Church, is The Great Tribulation. This will be a seven year period of great apostasy and severe persecutions for the believers of God; a remnant of Jews to be precise, (not the Christians because they’ll be at home in heaven with the Lord already) will face intense persecutions.
“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.”-Matthew 24:21-22
The Anti-Christ, in alliance with the false prophet will rise, and rule the world during those seven years, and blasphemy the Lord Almighty, make people worship him as God.
The second coming of Christ to the earth will diminish the anti-Christ’s rule and put an end to the Tribulation. Lord Jesus Christ will Himself rule the world for a millennium. Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit; there will literally be no evil in this world.
While Lord Jesus Christ, predicted His second coming to the earth, He made clear that no one knows exact date expect The Father.
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” – Mark 13:32
“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming” -Matthew 25:13
After Christ’s millennial rule, Satan will however be released but for a short time and thus be cast into the lake of fire eternally. The existing heaven and earth will be annihilated.
“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more”. – Revelation 21:1
The purpose of Biblical prophesies is to make us aware of the fact that we constantly need to draw closer to God, through our Savior Lord Jesus Christ. Accept Jesus as our Savior apart from Whom we can by no means escape the judgment. We need to be spiritually ready at all times. In the meantime, God does not want us to believe the mendacity of the Malayan calendar or any other source than the Bible.
