Delegates from NCIDE Visited the Home Town of Arslan Masih for Condolence

CIP: Delegates from NCIDE (National Commission for Interreligious Dialogue and Ecumenism) visited the residential village of Arslan Masih, a sixteen years old Christian boy the student of class 8th. The young boy was deadly beaten by a squad of six policemen as a consequence of a fighting between Arslan Masih and son of a Policeman.

The delegation was lead by Fr. Francis Nadeem OFM Cap and Executive Secretary of NCIDE along with Fr. Inayat Bernard and the Muslim Scholars namely,

Moulana Asim, Moulana Shakil ur-Rehman and Mufti Ashiq Hussain.

After this miserable incident Christian families of that area feeling insecure and the tension was also increasing day by day between the Muslims and Christians. The delegation meets with the religious leaders of the area and talk about peace. In fact they discussed how to eliminate the feelings of anger and insecurity to avoid any unpleasant event in the future.

The delegation pushes the authorities to get justice for the poor Christian family of Arslan Masih who was lynched by the Policemen.
