ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has resolutely stated that each and every citizen of Pakistan would be protected by the state.
Pakistani Premier said today on Tuesday December 23 that each and every citizen of Pakistan will be protected by the state, irrespective of their religion, sect or caste. He went on to say that no cause is holier than protecting the life and property of the people. PM was chairing a meeting in the Capital to discuss matters relating to the bane of terrorism in Pakistan.
“We cannot forget and forgive atrocities committed by barbarians in Peshawar, Quetta and Wagha,” the prime minister said. “There will be no discrimination and exception in our war against terrorism.”
Earlier today, he cancelled all his routine appointments and declared the day dedicated to under consideration reforms on security-related matters in the country. PM will also confer with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and his team in order to firm up policy papers for countering terrorism and tumbling legal hurdles in the way of execution of terrorists.
