Faisalabad: Bishop acknowledged for his spiritual and social services

Rt. Reverend Bishop Joseph Arshad appreciated for rendering valuable and fruitful service towards the Church and the society. In a humble gathering Professor Anjum James Paul presented a shield to Rev. Bishop Joseph Arshad as a token of appreciation.

Professor Anjum James Paul a prominent Pakistani academic and head of Pakistan Minorities’ Teachers Alliance presented a shield of honor to honorable Bishop Joseph Arshad in acknowledgement of his spiritual and worldly services. In a ceremony held to commemorate his priestly ordination. The ceremony was held to mark the silver jubilee of his ordination.

In a statement to CIP, Professor Anjum James Paul wrote: “I have the honor that we were together in St. Mary’s Seminary in Lahore from 1984-1985.” While further detailing about Bishop Joseph he stated: “He was senior to me but a very active and intelligent seminarian. He was a good musician and singer as well and we participated together in many activities.”
