Faisalabad: Vandals break in a church, misbehave with women and children during church service

Unknown men break in a church in a nearby village of Faisalabad, and misbehaved with women and children inside the church. The incident took place in Chak 279 R,B when unknown vandals stormed in the church building at the time when a prayer service was going on. Purportedly, these men had behaved badly with the congregants.

Churches attacked in Pakistan

In keeping with details, the Blood of Christ church came under attack when a prayer service was going on. The incident has sparked widespread indignation among the local Christians. Moreover, local Muslims are also condemning the attack.

Followed by the incident, the local Christians including women and children held a protest against the vandalism, and demanded that the security of churches should be beefed up. At this occasion, they were holding placards with slogans which read: “Stop terrorism” (Dehshatgardi Band Karo). Furthermore, some of them were carrying banners which read that “All Muslim brothers and sisters are also with us” (Tamam Musalman Behn Bhai hamare Saath Hain)

The agitated Christian protesters called upon the Chief of Army Staff-General Raheel Shareef and Prime Minister of Pakistan- Nawaaz Shareef to take strict action against the perpetrators and beef up security of the churches so that incidents of this kind can be prevented in future.
