LAHORE: Kamran Michael- Federal Minister visits United Pentecostal Church for the first time after taking oath for his new office.
Mr. Kamran Micheal Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping went to the United Pentecostal Church for thanks giving on Sunday, 9th of July, 2013 with his family, for the first time after taking oath as a minister. Pastor Anil John along with the congregation gave them a warm welcome.
During the service, Elder Akhter Murad gave a greeting speech and acknowledged and applauded the labours of Mr. Kamran Micheal and his father Mr. M.L. Michael for the betterment of Christian Community in Pakistan as a whole. Executive Member John Wilson and Mrs. Shama Murad presented garlands to Mr and Mrs Kamran Micheal correspondingly, as a token of love.
Pastor Anil John also appreciated the political and public hard work of Mr. Kamran Micheal followed by a brief speech by Mr. Kamran Micheal. Mr. Kamran Michael said, greatly glorifying the Lord that,” his success was due to the blessings of the God in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Quoting from Scriptures, he added, “It is written in Psalms 75:6 that “The promotion cometh neither from the “East nor west nor from the south, it is from the Lord.”
In the end he, asked the congregation to remember him in their prayers, as the challenge he now faces is greater than ever. For the reason that; it is for the very first time in the history of Pakistan, that any Christian Minister has been assigned, such an important ministry. At the end of the service Pastor Anil John and the congregation prayed for the attainment and heavenly help for Mr. Kamran Micheal.
