I-Day causes a stir: Christian community in Landi Kotal wholehearted pray for peace in the country

Christians in Landi Kotal earnestly pray for peace in Pakistan. While marking the Independence Day of Pakistan, Christian community of the small town of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) offered wholehearted prayers for Pakistan’s prosperity.

In order to celebrate the occasion, the Landi Kotal Christian Community Church was adorned with white and green symbolic of Pakistan flag. Christians from across the town attended this prayer service, which had been organized in relation to the Independence Day fiesta. At this occasion, the church was decorated with Pakistani flags.

During the service, while addressing the congregants President of Christian Community FATA, Arshad Masih said that “Pakistani Christians won’t spare their lives in the line of duty towards their country.” He lauded the role of local political administration and security forces who had managed to clinch peace in the area.
