BANGALORE: Christians decide to observe a day of “fasting and prayer” for persecuted Christians in Iraq.

In a meeting attended by all Christian leaders to discuss the in progress violence in Iraq and the genocide of innocent Christians in Iraq and Syria it has been decided to observe Friday, the September 12, as a day of ‘fasting and prayer’ for the suffering Christians in Iraq.

The participants also decided to observe ‘Black Sunday’ on September 14 and to conduct a public rally.

The meeting was coordinated by Federation of Karnataka Catholics and Christians Associations (FCCA) and attended by Christian leaders, priests, pastors, sisters and held at the Paalana Bhavan.
