An elderly Christian woman burnt alive for not acting in accordance with Islamic laws.
According to reports by the Bas News, in a recent episode of its massacre of Christians the militant group ISIS has reportedly burned an 80 year-old Christian woman alive in a village Kremlis east of Mosul.
Reports reveal that the ISIS militants burned her when she failed to meet with their strict Islamic laws.
The incident took place in an Iraqi village which is about 20 km south east of Mosul in northern Iraq. Mosul is the hub of Islamic State (IS) militants where they have declared their caliphate and people are compelled to follow their strict laws.
Sa’ed Mamuzini, a representative of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) office in Mosul, confirmed the news saying, “The militants burned the 80-year-old Iraqi Christian woman, who was from Kremlis in the Nimrud area of the Hamdaneya sub district, east of Mosul.”
He further added that,” The villagers told me that the woman was killed for failing to comply with the strict laws of the Islamic State.”
This is not the first time, that Christians are facing brutal violence of ISIS. Ever since ISIS has taken control of large swathes of Iraq and Syria, life has never been easy for Christians. Tens and thousands have been forced to flee their homes, numerous killed, countless abducted during current bloodthirsty drive by the jihadist group.
