ISIS executes Japanese Christian hostage Kenji Goto.
According to details, Japan is outraged at ISIS ‘beheading’ of Japanese hostage Kenji Goto. Japan reacts with rage and defiance to the video apparently shows the beheading of Japanese hostage Kenji Goto by an Islamic State militant. The video is believed to credible as Japanese officials believe it is genuine. In the video, Kenji Goto is seen kneeling in an orange jumpsuit. Whereas, an ISIS militant speaking with an English accent addresses Japanese PM Mr. Abe, accusing him of a “reckless decision to take part in an unwinnable war”.
On the there hand, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Japan “would not give in to terrorism” and that he would expand his support to countries fighting ISIS. Beheading of Kenji Goto has sparked strong condemnation from the US and other allies in the fight against ISIS.
Kenji Goto, a 47-year-old journalist was well known for his work covering the suffering of civilians in war zones. Kenji went to Syria in October 2014; reportedly to make an effort to rescue Yukawa his fellow worker who was already held by the militants.
