Islamabad: One day Prayer Festival to be held to offer prayers for the country ahead of Independence Day

A one day prayer festival is to be held in Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium Sports Complex where prayers for the country will be offered. This prayer festival is organized by the Eternal Life Ministries, and scheduled on August 11, Thursday. Senior Pastor Anwar Fazal will be leading the prayer festival.

The organizing committee of the festival includes Pastor Shahbaz Masih Sahotra, Pastor Safeer Akhtar, Pastor Samson Sohail, Pastor Arif Bhatti, Zahid Anwar, Jamshaid Jerome and Nelson Javaid. While the festival’s administration team includes Doctor Pervaiz Kamran, Pastor Amir Sohail, Pastor Nasir Gill, Zafar Iqbal, Albert David, Younas Masih, Pastor Shaukat Hayat.

Additionally Irfan Yaqoob, Pastor Tariq Emmanuel, Pastor Shahid Iqbal, Pastor Frank John, Shafqat Hayat, Pastor Emmanuel, Younas Pervaiz, Pastor Kashif Gill, Doctor Nadeem Hidayat, Rashid Almas, Zohaib Iqbal, Rohail Iqbal, Pastor Shahzad, Elder Mushtaq Masih, Nasir Bhatti, Ashiq Masih, Pastor Dilawar Masih, Sohail Gill, Hameed Masih, Tariq Masih Paracha and Sohail Banaras are also part of this team.

Senior Pastor of Eternal Life Ministries Anwar Fazal has invited all Christian Pakistani to attend the festival and offer prayers for peace and prosperity of Pakistan. “I invite all of you friends to come and join in prayer for the glory of God. God bless Pakistan, God Bless you all,” he stated in a social media statement.

Pastor Anwar Fazal also asked all to share the invitation with others so that maximum Christian Pakistanis can take part in the prayer festival and lift up the country in their prayers with one accord. August 11 also marks the National Minorities’ Day, which will be celebrated at government level.
