The Islamic State Jihadist group blacklisted by the United Nations Organizations.
The United Nations Security Council has blacklisted six people including the Islamic State spokesperson whilst threatening sanctions against those who finance, recruit or supply weapons to the rebels.
The United Nations Security council collectively adopted a resolution primarily to weaken the Islamic State. Islamic State is remnant of al- Qaeda in Iraq which is showing no signs of tiring and taking control of large areas in Iraq and Syria while declaring a caliphate.
According to the resolution six people blacklisted will be subject to an international travel ban, asset freeze and arms embargo, including Islamic State spokesperson Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, an Iraqi described by UN experts as one of the group’s “most influential emirs” and close to its leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.
