ISLAMABAD: J. Salik urges for the implementation of the Meesaq-e-Madina.
Dr. J.Salik- politician, Convener World Minority Alliance, Convener Overseas Assembly Pakistan and Nominee for Nobel Peace Prize coordinated the” Meesaq-e- Medina Conference” at National Press Club Islamabad. The conference was presided by Dr. Imran Opal while other guest included Secretary CAD Farid Ullah Khan, Presidential advisor President AJK Raja Sajid Hussain, Ghuzanfar Mehdi from Ithad Mili, Social Worker Engineer Mushtaq, Molvi Asghar, Incharge Khatoon Fatima Church Father Hakim Rehmat, Shahid Qasim. This conference was attended by number of people from different walks of life.
Dr. J Salik while addressing the participants said: minorities played vital role to make Pakistan, they voted for Pakistan in front of Boundary Commission. He went on to emphasize the importance of Meesaq-e-Medina saying: Meesaq-e-Medina should be implemented in the society because it’s an important need of time and it should be the part of constitution of Islamic republic of Pakistan and all Islamic Countries and it should have great importance in syllabus word by word. He added: when Meesaq-e-Medina will be implemented in the country & when it will be the part of constitution of Pakistan then I will go to Medina and will lighten the place where Meesaq-e-Medina was constructed.
Engineer Mushtaq a social worker said: minorities are equally important and have equal rights. We have to accept each other in good manners. Father Hakim Rehmat said: Meesaq-Medina is the tower of light for us, and we have to respect each other individually and socially. We have to defeat devil, and step forward to make our country peaceful by implanting on Meesaq-e-Medina. Ghuzanfar Mehdi from Ithad Mili expressed appreciation and gratitude towards Dr. J Salik for organizing the conference. Additionally, Abdul Aziz Ullah said: it’s impossible to make an Islamic State without implementing on Meesaq-e-Medina.
While Dr. Imran Opal expressing his views about the event addressed the participants at the end of the conference saying: we are fortunate people that we have Pakistan because it’s an honour. He added: It’s our duty to follow the perching of Hazrat Mohammad.
The conference started with prayers and recitation of Quraan-e-Pak, as the conference moved towards its end all the participants appreciated Dr. J. Salik’s effort while thanking him for arranging the conference in the month of Rabi-ul-awal.
