JCTV is a Lahore based Christian channel that aims to proclaim the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ and the belief of Christian faith through the use of electronic media.
JCTV’s sole purpose is to equip believers through Christian television broadcast in Pakistan, and wherever Urdu recognising individuals dwell.
Previously, talking to Christians in Pakistan, Javed Rauf had said, “It seems very difficult and sometimes impossible to preach in the place where there is no supporting environment for Christianity. I experienced that it is the most daring decision to preach in the place like Islamic Republic of Pakistan.”
There have been numerous cases of Muslim extremists threatening Christian missionaries and evangelists in Pakistan. Some have gone to the length of harming Christians physically and financially.
By the end of last year, one of Pakistan’s largest Christian TV channels, Gawahi TV’s office was set on fire by unknown men which caused a huge financial loss for the channel administration.
