Karachi: A chapel for Christian prisoners in Landhi jail inaugurated by Christian higher-ups

A Chapel for Christian prisoners for Landhi Jail in Malir area in Karachi has been inaugurated recently. This chapel was inaugurated by a group of Christian, including senior official of Railway Police Robin Yamin Sahotra. The team of Christian dignitaries who inaugurated the chapel also conducted a prayer service for the Christian prisoners.

In a social media statement, it was disclosed that the visiting team of Christian officials shared God’s Word with the prisoners, and spent an entire day with them. “I along with Superintendent Jail, Deputy Superintendent jail, social activist Samuel Payara, Pastor Asif from ARP Church and many others inaugurated a chapel prepared for Christian prisoners in Landhi Jail Malir, Karachi,” SSP Robin Yamin Sahotra.

While further revealing about the inauguration ceremony, SSP Robin Yamin Sahotra stated: “I appreciate the efforts of sister Samina Nawab and her husband for this good work.” Mrs. Samina Nawab is the General Secretary of the charity group Angel’s Welfare Trust stated that the visiting team had lunch with the prisoners.
