Karachi: CM Sindh’s adviser on interfaith harmony visits Christian neighborhoods

Chief Minister Sindh’s special advisor on interfaith harmony Anthony Naveed has visited various areas of Karachi, in order to check on the civic facilities being provided to the Christians. His visit comes as part of the preparations for Christmas. Anthony Naveed along with his team visited the predominantly Christian areas of District Central in Karachi.

Christmas preparations in Pakistan

During his visits, today December 22 Anthony Naveed arrived at the biggest Christian area in District Central “Pahar Gung.” He was accompanied by District Central Municipal Commissioner and former President of District Central Sohail Abidi, former President PSF Karachi and various other local leaders of the PPP Minority wing. At this occasion several Christian residents of the district central also accompanied Anthony Naveed’s team.

Anthony Naveed and his team also visited predominantly Christian areas of District East. During his visit to the UC-3 Azam Basti, he was accompanied by Union Council Chairman, Municipal commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and the officials from the management of District East. Various other PPP workers also convoyed Anthony Naveed’s team.

Previously, on December 20, Anthony Naveed visited UC-1 Akhter Colony in District East along with Union Council Chairman, Municipal Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and management of District East. Anthony Naveed reiterated the resolution of providing better civic facilities to the Christians in the city. He said that the provincial government is keen on facilitating the Christian community on the auspicious occasion of Christmas.
