Karachi: Julius Salik commiserates the loss of legendary philanthrapist Abdul Sattar Edhi

Prominent Pakistani Christian leader and Former Federal Minister Julius Salik expressed deep sorrow over loss of legendary philanthropist Adbul Sattar Edhi. The champion humanitarian was running Pakistan’ largest humanitarian organization, passed away last night, July 8. “His services will be remembered till centuries,” Julius Salik said.

J.Salik who attended the last rites of the Abdul Sattar Edhi, in Karachi. In a press release, J. Salik stated that Abdul Sattar was a great asset of Pakistan. While voicing deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of the celebrated philanthropist, he said “Edhi’ services are trail blazing, even after death he served humanity and donated his eyes.”

He further stated that Edhi has proven that one can serve others in any given circumstances. “I believe today fatherless and widows have lost their father.” However, he expressed hope that the Edhi family will continue the great humanitarian’ mission.

Abdul Sattar Edhi was born in 1928, in India. He was a protuberant Pakistani philanthropist, social activist and humanitarian. Adbul Sattar Edhi founded Edhi Foundation and was running it with great realization in Pakistan.
