Three Pakistani police officers allegedly acting with negligence in the Kasur porn case transferred to other districts.

According to details, three police officers have been transferred over accusations of negligence in the course of a intensifying scandal over a paedophile gang which abused hundreds of children for many years.

Nabeela Ghazanfar- spokesperson for the provincial police says, “The officers were removed from their posts “for their negligence on the Kasur sex scandal.”

The police officers who have been transferred are Rai Babar, the district police chief, and two deputy superintendents to other districts. However, parents of the abused children told the media that police had blatantly refused to register some complaints and treated some of the victims “like criminals”.

Muhammad Amin, a police official said “The police have arrested 14 suspects so far. Seven cases have been registered against them for alleged sodomy, kidnapping and torture.”
