KPK Governor assures religious freedom and equal status to religious minorities of tribal areas

Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has assured religious freedom for the religious minorities living in the tribal areas. He was talking with a delegation of All FATA Social Welfare Minority Organization, at his residence. KPK Governor assured them of all possible assistance for the religious minorities. He said that every effort will be made to address the issues of the religious minorities.

Religious minorities in Tribal Areas

In a handout issued by the All FATA Social Welfare Minority Organization, on Wednesday July 20, it was stated that the governor had assured religious freedom for the religious minorities in the tribal areas. The governor was briefed about the problems and difficulties faced by minorities in the tribal areas.

According to the handout, Governor assured the representatives of minorities that essential action would be taken to make sure that the religious minorities enjoy religious freedom and security. He assured them of equal opportunities to progress in every arena.

The delegation of the minority representatives was led by Wilson Wazir- President of FATA Minority Organization. Other representatives included Gorpal Singh, Gulzar Masih, Riaz Masih, Pepender Singh, Zaibun Nisa, Areesha Gul and others.
