Lahore: Christmas bazaars set up in six different locations in order to facilitate local Christians

A Christmas bazaar has been set up in country’s one of the largest Christian neighbourhoods, Youhanabad in order to facilitate the Christians.

According to details, District Coordination Officer (DCO) had inaugurated a Christmas bazaar in Youhanabad, which is a Christian majority neighbourhood of Lahore.

In keeping with details, DCO of Lahore Muhammad Usman, on Tuesday December 22, inaugurated a Christmas Bazaar in Youhanaabad in order to provide assistance to the Christian community on the eve of Christmas. At this occasion he visited several stalls of assorted commodities. DCO Muhammad Usman also inspected the quality of the products put on sale and their prices.

After the inauguration of the Christmas bazaar, DCO Muhammad Usman also directed the officials of Town Municipal Administration Nishtar Town to make sure that the products put on sale in this Christmas bazaar are of good quality while the prices are low so that the local Christian community can get maximum benefit and relief.

In addition to the Christmas bazaar in Youhanabad, DCO Muhammad Usman said that “the district administration set up six such bazaars to facilitate the Christian community.” These Christmas shopping bazaars have been established at Jallo Mor in Wahga Town near BRB Canal, Gulberg Town near Makkah Colony, Nishter town near Yohanabad Ferozpur Road, Data Gunj Bakhsh Town opposite Don Basco School near Railway Headquarters, Shalimar Town at China Scheme Chowk and in Data Town the bazaar has been set up at Elahi Bukhsh Road.

These Christmas bazaars have been set up in order to facilitate the local Christians to purchase different items of good quality and of cheap prices, DCO Muhammad Usman said.
