LHC moved seeking calibrated introduction of Biblical studies as a subject for Christian students

A Pakistani Christian has moved Lahore High Court seeking, introduction of Biblical Studies as a subject for Christians students from at schools and colleges. The petitioner Irafan Salamat Khokhar has implored the court handing over “Christians the right to study BIBLE in schools and colleges Pakistan.”

Biblical studies as a subject for Pakistani Christians

The Lahore High Court heard the case, on July 1, Friday. During the case hearing the petitioner’ counsel Hassan Shabir presented arguments for introduction of Biblical studies as a subject available for Christian students in schools and colleges. Petitioner Irfan Salamat Khokhar, had maintained that Christians students be allowed to take Biblical studies as a subject from nursery to graduation levels.

Followed by argumentation, the LHC directed the government to submit a reply expounding its view about the requisition. “I am thankful to my lawyer Hassan Shabir who presented my case and plead the court for the interests and basic rights of Christian community and Biblical study will taught as subject to Christian students in Government and private education institutions,” explained Irfan Salamat Khokhar. He urged all to uphold his venture in their prayers.
