World’s ultra terror group, ISIS still soaks up support from more than 42 million Muslims from across the globe.
This recent figure is based on four polls conducted in recent times. The results when compiled shaped up into shockingly high number of Muslims from all over the world, still favouring Islamic State.
This result has been compiled under the Clarion Project; which consisted of research works. Ryan Mauro from the project cautioned that “ISIS is only a fraction of what it could potentially become. If we don’t act quickly, this is still going to grow and what we’re looking at today is going to look like the good old days compared to the future.”
The reports compiled after surveys and polls revealed that in excess of 8.5 million people across the globe view ISIS positively bestowing, while around 42 million favour them somehow.
The terror group ISIS is on rampage in Syria, since Friday last week the terror group carried out deadly attacks in three countries. In a most recent episode of terror, ISIS has struck in Paris killing at least 129 people.
In the wake of growing terrorism and extremism, in the April a survey resulted in more than a third of the British Muslims hold the British police and MI5 responsible for promoting radicalisation in young Muslim Britons.
Furthermore, the poll also revealed that one out four people expressed sympathy for those who had travelled to Syria to join the terror group ISIS. On the other hand, female Muslim Britons were the ones who showed most favour and sympathy for the ones who travel to Syria to join ISIS.
