ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has asked National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) to set off assessment of damages in the flood-affected areas of the country.

Dar said NDMA should inform the public about losses caused to life and property in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) and Punjab in order to direct relief efforts to places where disaster has struck the most.
