November 7th, 2015, we heard heartbreaking news. We suffered a tragic loss and lost a great Man of God, Dr. Hizkiel Serosh. He was involved in a car accident during the evening of November 7th while he was coming back from a prayer meeting in Faisalabad.
When we got the news, he was in critical condition. Unfortunately, shortly after due to his injuries he passed away. There are no words to express our deep sorrow and pain for the big loss for the Christian Community.
This loss is an irreparable loss for us all as he was not only an extraordinary Shephard of God, but also an inspiring mentor and a great example to many. He was one of the most prominent song writers, composer, teacher, spiritual leader and an amazing Pastor. He was undoubtedly one of the most globally recognized religious figures our nation has ever produced.
He was always concerned with the well-being of all of his family members, his sons and daughters, his grandchildren, his church congregation, his friends from around the world. He had a genuine concern for people and put everyone’s needs before his own. Dr. Hizkiel Serosh led an exemplary life with his encouraging words, from powerful sermons that moved us all to the unique hymns of worship he created to praise the Lord to the simple day-to-day teaching that helped us develop as Christians and human beings.
He was a loved member of our family and one of the great leaders of our church. We are praying that the Lord gives us all strength in this difficult time and that we all celebrate the wonderful life of Dr. Hizkiel Serosh. We extend our condolences and sympathies to the entire family of Dr. Hizkiel Serosh. Please keep all of their family members and Church congregation in your prayers. May God provide his comfort and peace to everyone affected by this great tragedy.
Dr. Hizkiel Serosh funeral service will be on Wednesday 11 November, 3pm at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Lahore Cantt,
