Plea For Cancellation of Bail in Rape Case of 2 Christian Girls
Sehrish and Farzana, Christian girls from Jaranwala were brutally gang raped in the middle of the night. It was a 12 hour ordeal for the girls earlier this year. A law suit had been filed in this regard and advocate Mushtaq Gill is fighting the cause.

Muhammad Azeem one of the accused, had been granted bail and Mushtaq Gill is now advocating the Lahore high Court to cancel the bail as the accused should be punished for the heinous crime.

On 15th May 2015, in a trial under Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, the cancellation of bail petition no.3482/15 against Muhammad Azeem was fixed. Mushtaq Gill pleaded the court to record the evidence of the victims at a safe place as they are receiving continuous threats and the brother of Advocate Gill has also been shot after he took on the case.

The court has warned Azeem that any misbehavior would lead to immediate re arrest and Advocate Gill has been instructed to submit an application for re arrest if the accused or his cohorts create a problem for the girls and their families.
Lawyer of Muhammad Azeem has been missing from court hearing which has delayed the case further.

Farzana one of the victims said, “My family and I have suffered so much, but we believe God will deliver us from our enemies. These men thought they could attack us because we are weak Christians but we never gave up hope for justice and will pursue it knowing God will answer our prayers.”
