Prince Charles makes donations to the persecuted Christians

Britain’s Prince Charles has made donations to the persecuted Christians followed by his meeting with quite a few Iraqi and Syrian refugees. Prince Charles had previously warned in another event that the mounting crisis of extremism will certainly threaten “the very existence of Christianity in the land of its birth.”

According to details, Prince Charles has donated money to the persecuted Christians. In this regard, Prince of Wales’ charitable foundation made donations; which was followed by a speech from the Prince Charles. “Having met Iraqi and Syrian refugees recently in Lebanon, I know how much such help means, and the fact that our brothers and sisters are not forgotten,” he said.

UK’s National Director of Aid to the Church in Need, (ACN) – Neville Kyrke-Smith extended his gratitude towards the Prince for his gift and remarked that it will certainly leave a far reaching impact. “The support of the Prince of Wales for the work of Aid to the Church in Need and other organisations encourages more people to do the same.”

However, this is not the first time, that Prince Charles has extended support to the Christians persecuted for their faith. Apart from this, previously, he made donations; which was described as a “small token of assistance” to Aid to the Church in Need. Moreover, Prince Charles has repeatedly spoken of the looming threat Christianity has been facing in the Middle East, which according to him is an “indescribable tragedy.”

Aid to the Church in Need has been actively working with the persecuted and oppressed Christians all over the world. Furthermore, in the wake of current crisis, Aid to the Church in Need recently announced a chain of additional emergency aid for the people in the Middle East, regardless of their religion.
