Hitting out at Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that “the runaway from Canada should have participated in the 2013 general elections if he wanted to bring a ‘revolution’ in Pakistan.” At the same time the premier criticised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan, stating that the PTI chief should have held the Azadi march during the general elections and not a year after they were held.

“August 14 is a day for everyone to be together,” Nawaz said, adding that PTI should have kept their long march in solidarity with the government
