Previously Pastor Ilyas a local Christian had implored Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan to grant land for church building and a graveyard for Christian community in Kallar Syedan. Responding to the plea, Chaudhary Nisar issued necessary directives for the grant process to kick start. After orders from the Interior Minister, the concerned authorities have already responded to the Interior Ministry in this regard.

For years, the Christians in Kallar Syedan have had no church, neither a graveyard to bury their loved ones. For the sake of burying their dead they had to transport their dead bodies to other towns and cities, as there is no graveyard for Christians in Tehsil Kallar Syedan. Despite the fact that the presence of Christian population in Kallar Syedan predates the creation of Pakistan, they have been devoid of a place of worship and a graveyard for years.
