Rawalpindi: Security forces arrest two men trying to take photographs of a church in Red Zone

Security forces apprehend two men for taking pictures of a church on Rawalpindi’s Mall Road. They were caught taking pictures of the church located in the Red Zone, with their mobile phones. “One of our friends asked us to capture church pictures to be used as a screen saver in his mobile phone.”

Owing to heightened security in Rawalpindi, especially in the Red Zone area, police forces patrolling the area seized two men who have been identified as Haider and Hamza; they were trying to capture photos of the church located on the Mall Road which falls in the Red Zone. They were transferred to Civil Lines Police Station, for further investigations.

Their possessions including mobile phones were taken into custody, while police are interrogating both of them. In line with thus far outcome of the investigations it has been established that Haider and Hamza are working at a unit of an air-condoning plant of a hospital which is run under a government department. In their statement both of them maintained that their friend had requested them to capture the church’s photos so that he might use the photos as screen saver in his mobile phone.
