ISLAMABAD: The Apex court is still discontented with the report of Punjab Government over the Badami Bagh Incident.
Resuming the hearing of the sou motu notice of the incident today,wherein high government officials submitted a fresh report over the fire-raising. In reaction to the report, the SC expressed displeasure commenting that the provincial government did not fulfill its duties in due manner by not ensuring the protection of lives and properties of public.
The bench hearing this case comprises Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Azmat Saeed and Justice Gulzar Ahmed. In today’s proceedings the Advocate general Ashtar Ausaf Ali presented a new report on behalf of the government of Punjab to the SC.
