Aljazeera report says, ‘Ex-Muslims of North America (link is external), or EXMNA, asked (link is external) Twitter users to join Tuesday’s campaign using hashtag #TwitterTheocracy (link is external) to target what they say is Twitter’s compliance with Pakistan censorship laws.”

Twitter used its country withheld too for the first time in order to block blasphemous content and many other unethical tweets in Pakistan. The content was blocked on the five continuous requests of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority.

EXMNA and other secular groups have held an online strike against this freedom of speech, and criticized Twitter for siding with an oppressive régime. Twitter Theocracy has been used almost 10,000 times since Tuesday.
