The hassle between Christians and Muslim over seizure of a graveyard gets resolved in a peaceable manner, without requiring legal pursuit. Followed by illegal possession of part of the burial ground belonging to Christians; a dispute was brewing which led to a looming legal pursuit. In this respect a Christian lawyer Advocate Alisha Gill had taken up the task to file a petition seeking stay order against a local’s unlawful possession of the part of burial land.
Advocate Alisha Gill told that the following the report published by Christians in Pakistan over the illegal possession of the graveyard; the perpetrators of the seizure have offered a peace pact with the local Christians Kotla Amambaanwala village in district Sialkot.
“Followed by Christians in Pakistan’s report, they offered to settle the dispute peaceably,” Advocate Alisha Gill said. “They have assured us that the property will be returned to Christians who are rightful owners of the land. Local influential men and chairman of local council have pledged a guaranteed return of the seized land to Christian community.”
He disclosed that the local Christians had gladly accepted the peace pact and have agreed to the offer from the locals. “I am thankful to the Lord for granting us success in our endeavor,” Advocate Alisha said.
“I would like to express my gratitude to all who had prayed for our endeavor and supported us in any capacity. We are overwhelmed by the miraculously imminent repossession of the burial land.”
